Thirteen Weeks 5-3-12
It’s been thirteen weeks or is 91 days. That seems like a very long time yet it
doesn’t even seem real.
That sweet smell of Kathryn has been really around. I think she knows when it is tough and
she let’s us know she is around. I
think today was slow for both of us.
Not too much accomplished and kind of lazy. We did run some errands. I had to turn in a letter to assure my return to work for
next year. We also went to the
fabric store.
Scott and I took a while to pick out fabric for the dinosaur
costume for Mooselips. Don’t tell
Richard but I am making him one too.
The costumes should be really great when finished. The lady who was helping me decide on
how much to buy asked me about the project. Well I had to explain why I would be making these costumes
for two grown men. Of course it
all centers around Kathryn and her dino costume. She sure loved that costume and she looked fabulous in
it. So the two guys can carry on
the dino theme that started with little Kathryn. I even found the same sparkle material for the spikes as I
used for Kathryn’s. I’m very
excited to make these costumes.
Hopefully it will rain tomorrow and I will feel good about staying
inside to work on them. If I stick
to it I should get them both done in a couple of days. I really don’t sew but I am going to do
it like I did for Kathryn. I think
I have sown a dozen things in my life.
Kathryn always had such faith in my ability to make things. She even had me make a couple of prom
dresses. I also made a matching
tie for her date. Well, I’m sure Kathryn
will be watching me make these costumes.
Off to bed – I hope I sleep well tonight. I haven’t been sleeping well since we
got back from our trip. I hope I
sleep tonight.
