All set for the Service 2-24-12

All Set for the Service 2-24-12
We worked real hard today at the church setting up. Without friends and family to help nothing would have gotten done. The tables look beautiful, the luminarias are so great, and the displays are fabulous. Please take time to look through the displays and the luminarias. Kathryn did a lot in her life and most of it is there.
I was very strong during the day because I was so focused and busy. But once I left the church I broke down and cried as I drove home. It just hit me that life was about to change. Well it has but it is going to be real. Tomorrow will finalize it all. I want tomorrow to be perfect because it is the last tribute I can make to Kathryn. Pray that all of the words I speak tomorrow come out just right. I will suck it up as I saw Kathryn do so many times and speak without crying. Well, I may start off crying but I will pull it together and do my part.
I will see you all tomorrow.
Thank you everyone for all of your love and support. Those of you how have helped with the service I thank you so much. Those who are bringing food, Flowers , or made luminarias I thank you. Thank you to all of the church members for your help and devotion. I can’t say thank you enough for all of the help, love and support.
Carol

The service was such a beautiful tribute to Kathryn. I hope seeing all the countless faces of people whose lives Kathryn has touched will bring you strength and comfort. You did an incredible job pulling it all together Carol. We were all touched by you and Scott, standing there before us sharing your memories of your much loved daughter. All your words came out "just right." Hugs.

Everyone enjoyed the service. It was a great tribute and celebration. Team Bradley and all who helped should be proud of what you accomplished. Kathryn is proud and you can be assured she was smiling as she watched so many celebrate her life. It was fitting to she the beam of sunshine hit the Hawaiian flowers and stay there for so long. Just like her - a beam of sunshine. She touched many - even those who didn't know her that came to support you. All left different. Great Job - you did Kathryn proud. We love you guys and continue to walk with you in prayer.

  4. Carol, Scott, Richard, and Ann,

Wow! "How Wonderful!"... That was a beautiful service and reception for Kathryn. The flowers, the music, the sermon, the speakers, the poem, the pictures, the pandas!, the slide show, EVERYTHING was just right. I have never experienced a more moving service...lots of tissue!! The strength you all showed was amazing and too inspiring for words...I believe Kathryn and the Holy Spirit guided you all, because what you were able to do, and how you held it all together, took superhuman strength...Carol, in some ways it may seem like that was your "final tribute" to Kathryn, but I want you to be reassured that so many people who were touched and moved by Kathryn will continue to be her living legacy...So many people were there today because KATHRYN TOUCHED SO MANY LIVES. She contributed so much beauty and love and positivity into our world, in such a remarkable young life...you are to be commended for sharing such a beautiful soul with the world. "Thank you"! The world can only be better because Kathryn was here..She shared her light with the world, and now her light is shining brightly into eternity. You all will continue to take Kathryn with you everywhere you go; we pray that knowing you'll be together in Heaven gives you some measure of comfort, and something to hold on to during the toughest of times. So many guests expressed how beautiful the service was and how it was so nice to reconnect with your wonderful family and to meet neighbors and friends..and to be a part of all of the love that filled the pews and the reception was a huge gift and blessing for all. How amazing to see the overflowing crowd and to experience the palpable love and joy that continues to surround Team Bradley. Personally, I will remember what Kathryn stood for: goodness and light...I love her quote in Richard's amazing tribute about "a minute spent in anger and sorrow is 60 seconds of life wasted"...what a wise soul. May Team Bradley, friends, and family continue to pour goodness and light into our world, in honor of Kathryn "Panda" ;)

In God's great love, and with extra hugs from your Williams cousins,
Alan and Kimberly, Ryan, Erik, and Alex
