New years day update

Kathryn had a rough morning but the afternoon and evening were good. They set the ventilator so she was doing almost all of the breathing on her own. It was set this way all day (8am to 7pm). We watched a couple of movies. She gave us a few smiles today, which was nice to see. Of course she laughed at our lack of computer skills too. We are still hearing that Tuesday will be the day that they change her cuff to one that she will be able to talk through. Looking at getting some Physical Therapy so she is strong when she goes home. Keep the prayers coming. We also love reading your comments.

  5. So glad you got some Panda smiles - i really think she has one of the best smiles around. Hoping that famous Panda giggle makes an appearance soon as well. Tell her Mulligan sends copious amounts of love and energy her way, and to the rest of the Bradley family. Thank you so much for all the updates as well - you guys are constantly on my mind and in my prayers.

Carol, Kathryn and family, We are and have been praying for Kathryn's full recovery and also for the rest of you her care deeply for her. Please know that God is for her not against her. I know of a missionary family in So. Africa "leo@servingafrica.com" that has gone through this cancer situation and is reading your blog now. He has had surgeons ( Deon Le Roux and Freddie Kieck) that conferred with world's top neurosurgeons for his operation. Please e-mail him for more details. Love you all and may God bless each of you and bring you PEACE. Laurie Watson
